2010 Summer Event: Back to School Shoe Drive

Big Thanks to all who donated and volunteered for the shoe drive! With the little time we had to plan, it was a huge success, especially because of the support we received from the Dick's Sporting Goods at 1604 and Culebra!! Without their help we wouldn't have been able to keep the donations at $25. a pair or able to offer such nice quality shoes- THANKS Dick's!!! We will honor the Dick's and the Associate, Tim who was such a huge help at out next chapter meeting, please let him know how appreciative we are if you see him.

Our Summer activity was a Back to School Shoe Drive! A purchase that we may never even think of as a luxury but a necessity is a new pair of shoes to return to school in, but for many children in need a pair of clean, new shoes is something their family may not have the resources to provide.... With everyone's help we can make sure a group of kids can go back with pride and start the new school year in a shiny new pair of comfortable shoes!
