Student Scholarships

The San Antonio Chapter is in the process of redefining its Ted Caravants Scholarship Program to better suit the needs of the student and the IFMA organization.  Please check back soon for further information on the program and its new developments.

The San Antonio Chapter of IFMA held its first scholarship fundraiser in 1995, raising enough money for one scholarship of $100.  Since the programs inception,  the San Antonio local chapter has raised in excess $161,000 in scholarships for local area students entering into facility related fields.  
 
The scholarship itself is named for one of the chapter's founding members who passed away from cancer in 2001.  Ted Caravantes spent more than 20 years in the facilities management field and endeavored to further educate others of its importance.
